Michele Bertolotto
Born in Genoa (GE), Italy. After a training in Medical biophysics, He graduated in Medicine and completed the Residency in Radiology at the University of Genoa. Associate professor of Radiology of the University of Trieste, Chief of Unit of Training & Research in Vascular & Multiparametric US.
He currently devotes the majority of his time to clinical practice as senior consultant in genitourinary radiology and in multiparametric US. His research activity is mainly devoted on abdominal and genitourinary radiology dealing, in particular, with applications of multiparametric US.
Prof. Bertolotto had several commitments in Italian and European Societies of Radiology and ultrasound. He is currently ESUR past-President, member of the ESUR Contrast Media Safety Committee, EDiUR examination team, ESUR Scrotal and Penile Imaging Working Group, and member of the Board of SIUMB, the Italian Society of US in Medicine and Biology.
Research activity is documented by 260 full papers, 122 book chapters and 4 books. Invited speaker to more than 600 National and International meetings.
