About the SECHO Association

The application of ultrasound in the last few decades is going through remarkable expansion, both in terms of the development of new technologies and also from the aspect of constant broadening of the clinical domains of application. The entire diagnostic radiology, as well as the vast majority of clinical areas, to a greater or lesser extent uses ultrasound techniques.

In Serbia and the region, this area has been continuously developing for almost four decades, in parallel with various formats of education and practical training, which is extremely important in our area.

Assuming that in Serbia, the countries of the former Yugoslavia, and, to some extent, the countries of the region of Southeast Europe, the development of technology and methods is at a relatively similar level, we consider it important to work together, further standardize the methodology of training and education in Serbia and Ex-YU region, and thus we try to offer appropriate answers to similar challenges we face in our daily work.
