We hope this correspondence finds you well.
On behalf of the Association for the Application of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology of the Republic of Serbia – SECHO, we are pleased to inform you that the
2nd Regional SECHO Ultrasound Congress
will be held from 11th to 13th December 2025. in Belgrade.
After successfully organizing the 1st SECHO Congress in December 2021, we are delighted to be in contact with you again.
The organizers intend to further establish SECHO Brand as a leading initiative in the field of medical Ultrasound in the Region and overall Southeast Europe.
Main topics of the 2nd Regional SECHO Ultrasound Congress, in accordance with the strategic orientation and professional interests within the SECHO Association and our professional circles, are designed to form the basis for a strong regional organization and constantly strengthening cooperation of all professional groups dealing with ultrasound in medicine.
One of the important goals will certainly be to animate professional leaders from the entire region, so that state-of-the-art methods and approaches are shared among us and offered to all colleagues from Serbia, Ex-YU region and broader Southeast Europe, so that the practical application of best international practices could be diffused in everyday work in the shortest possible time.
The work of the Association will therefore be more relevant, and the quality of ultrasound diagnostics and other areas of application will grow faster for the benefit of our patients. In that sense, the 2nd Regional SECHO Ultrasound Congress represents only the beginning of our educational activities, which will systematically continue, in accordance with the highest priority needs of our professions in the field of ultrasound.
Special emphasis will be placed on intensive and fast transfer of information, know-how and practice of Ultrasound in medicine among our colleagues who work in primary healthcare institutions.
The Congress program is being prepared around the following main topics, and additional once to the follow:
- Ultrasound diagnostics of the gastrointestinal tract and hepatobiliary system
- Pediatric radiology and the use of ultrasound
- Ultrasound diagnostics in gynecology
- Ultrasonography of the thyroid gland
- Ultrasound diagnostics of the bone and joint system
- Ultrasound diagnostics in ophthalmology
- Use of ultrasound in urology and nephrology
- Vascular and cardiac ultrasonography
- Thoracic ultrasonography
- Ultrasonography of the breast
We expect participation of a large number of invited lecturers/ faculties ,panelists, leaders in the field of ultrasound from Serbia, Ex-YU, SEE and Europe, who will deliver their talks and offer a comprehensive approach to topics in specialized areas of their expertise and attractive presentation formats. This will certainly contribute to the high quality of events and attract a large number of over 500 colleges as participants.
We will keep you informed on all relevant information related to your participation, abstract submission and other relevant details. The Preliminary Pogram will be available in March, through the Website www.secho.org , via regular promotional campaigns and our social networks. We cordially invite you to actively involve yourself in all aspects of the 2nd Regional SECHO Ultrasound Congress.
